Ghana and South Africa Sign Visa Waiver Deal for Tourists

 

The Republic of Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced a visa waiver agreement with the Republic of South Africa for ordinary passport holders.

This agreement will be effective from November 1, 2023. Under this agreement, travelers can stay in both countries for up to 90 days without needing a visa, for tourism or other non-work-related purposes.

This information is important for all travelers, and the Ministry advises everyone to be aware of this development.

VISA WAIVER AGREEMENT BETWEEN GHANA AND SOUTH AFRICA FOR ORDINARY PASSPORT HOLDERS

ACCRA, 13TH OCTOBER, 2023 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration wishes to inform the general public that the Republic of Ghana and the Republie of South Africahave entered into an Agreement on a visa waiver regime for holders of ordinary passport,

The Agreement takes effect from 1″ November, 2023. Travellers may transit through, depart from and stay in the territory of both countries for a cumulative period of up to ninety (90) days without recourse to work.

The travelling public is thereby advised to take note of this development.
